SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN TEST
Description
- Design, development and review the application code, automation code developing the applications by using the agile methodology with Java/J2EE technology
- Reviewing the application code to make sure the quality and standards followed as per the Barclays coding standards
- Write the unit/Functional tests, cucumber automation tests to cover line and code coverage to meet the requirements with Sonar and mutation testing plugins
- Writing the build scripts with maven to build the application code. Also used all latest maven plugin's to execute unit, functional, business rules and integration tests
- Integrate the project with continuous delivery pipeline to release the code very frequently into the production
- Write Continuous delivery pipeline code in chef automate the process by using the GO pipeline
- Write the automation testing framework to automate the application testing process by using the Selenium driver and cucumber tools
- Automate the testing of the configuration of the servers and performance monitoring tools with Unix Shell Scripts
- Monitoring the application performance in production with tools like App dynamics and Wily
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
